What do maple leaves remind you of? When I see them, I think of majestic maple trees, delicious maple syrup, and the Maple Leaf Rag (an awesome piece of music by Scott Joplin). Of course, they remind me of Canada and ice hockey, too.
Most of all, maple leaves remind me of the rich, vibrant autumn colors in the northern United States and Canada. I remember my friends and I trying to catch leaves as they drifted through the October air when I was a little kid. Maple leaves are so beautiful in the fall.
This coloring page combines a maple leaf with lots of repeating patterns. If you like coloring Zen Doodles or other fun patterns, then this is the coloring page for you.

I really like how bright and cheery this turned out. Maybe you can try to make it even more colorful. Or choose another color scheme such as autumn reds, oranges, and yellows. You also could just pick out the colors randomly while you color. There is no wrong way to color this in.
